Some Saturday Morning Thoughts!

It's November and I haven't written a blog post yet so here are some Saturday morning thoughts.

The Democrats have hit Trump in the kisser so Trump appoints Stephen Miller. He had it coming, the Donald playing Netanyahu's fiddle lost the midterms. I don't think Americans like to be made fools of on the global stage especially by one of their own. An impotent population will finally explode especially when they see ICE agents shooting dead members of their own community. America was on the precipice of full blown fascism and they have pulled it back from the brink. The fact that a global population has had to sit through a 24hour televised 3 year Genocide finally means that enough is enough.

There are hurty feelings this side of the pond as well with the Green Party's seismic "Zionism is Racism" vote. Labour Friends of Israel and the Board of Deputies of British Jews have been up in arms. So up in arms that they have managed to persuade the Labour Party locally not to work with the Greens to empty peoples' bins and fill in the potholes. There are many potholes in Gaza with human remains in that need acknowledgement first.

With the protests in Paris, Spain, Germany, Italy and Serbia it shows that you have to take a stand of some sort before anybody takes any notice. You will be called 'Hard Left' whatever you do because since 9/11 the world has tilted inexorably on its axis to the right.

Let us hope that the Democratic vote in America and the Green Party's stand in Britain and the brave students cries in Paris and Serbia is the wake up call that the collective consciousness requires.

On a more personal and parochial level I am glad that after Wrexham's defeat of top of the table Middlesborough on Wednesday night that the 'Parky Out' Brigade have now crawled back under their rocks to await their next opportunity to call for the sacking of Wrexham FC's most successful manager. Let's hope that Wrexham can continue that spirit against Wolves this afternoon. I am not sure what motivates people to lash out verbally and on social media after a couple of defeats but I would hazard a guess at their own unhappiness in their own lives. If you can't keep your own house in order then attack somebody else's why don't you.

I can't really finish this post without mentioning the trial by jury of Russell Brand. Before retiring to Bedfordshire last night I watched the video below which probably says all that needs to be said.
