smörgåsbord
I haven't written a blog post for a while and what better day than a Monday morning to set keyboard to screen? I have posted a few videos recently but they have not met with page view acclaim. It appears that my writing appeals more than my face. I get the message.
I thought I would experiment with this post and instead of concentrating on one topic which I usually do I will roam like a free range hen and see where my pecking takes me.
Liz Truss
At 12.39pm today Monday 05/09/2022 the embattled and embitterred four nations of the 'United Kingdom' will have a new Prime Minister. The Grifter will be leaving the No 10 flat with carpet and curtains and will be working on his memoirs which will be thicker and longer than War & Peace but will sell like shitcakes. Everything that can be said has been said about Boris Johnson so I wont add anything apart from "Good riddance". I'm going to try and avoid what I did with Johnson and go personal with attacks on Elizabeth 'Jack yer Knackers Up' because she's got about two years to cack it up. Her reaction to the presenter fainting was vaguely human and if her own father believes that she is a 'sleeper', somebody who can change the rotten soul of the Conservative & Unionist Party from within then he knows her better than anybody. All I hope is, for our communal safety, is that she doesn't start goading Vladimir Putin because he will come over here because he is hard enough.
Vladimir Putin
It appears to be going all quiet on the Eastern Front or should I say 'all cold'. The Chess Grand Master, the long game specialist has just turned off the gas supply to Germany and he threatens to re-enact Operation Barbarossa in reverse. Putin aka General Frost, if he can snub the funeral of Mikhail Gorbachev, he can do anything, and he will despite the protestations of the BBC, NATO and the Biden Propaganda machine. Biden has got his hands full dealing with 'the Enemy Within', Donald Trump and his MAGA mercenaries. From without it appears that America is closer to a Second Civil War than at anytime in its recent troubled past. As Henry Kissinger said "America has no permanent friends or enemies, only interests".
Labour
Well, as their name suggests they are bloody hard work and the internal wranglings and rancour show no sign of abating, at least on twitter. Enough is never enough when it comes to this party shooting itself in the foot. Character assassinations are de rigeur and the centre left and right left have been going in hard because the Assistant General Secretary of the RMT allowed the 'Tommy Robinson' words to come out of his mouth. All of Mick Lynch's hard work kicked in the goolies because of this one indiscretion caught on camera. It was an indiscretion because it was always going to be taken out of context. Labour will win the next General Election unless Liz Truss performs a miracle of human compassion and then we will have a kind of Blairite foetus governement who are trying to whitewash Socialism and Jeremy Corbyn from its history.
Monarchy
I had to give a mention to the Balmoral Massif in this smörgåsbord. That's them in the picture tucking into the entrails of the Scots after the Union propaganda machine has once again done its job on our Celtic cousins North of the Border. Age & Infirmity? Anybody can play that card when one is 96 and being treated by Britain's greatest physicians. Has the Queen or Prince Andrew tried to ring their local GP's surgery at 8.30am on the dot to be kept in a queue to be asked if they would be happy to have a telephone consultation with Dr Finlay to begin with?
"How will the good Doctor be able to treat my big toe if he cannot see it?"
"Can you take a photograph and post it to us digitally?"
"I'm 96, I can't use all this modern technology. Oh very well"
"Andrew, pass me my ipad"
"I've got some pictures on there Mum"
Neither in work nor looking for employment
"Hi I am Daf Williams and I am economically inactive." I feel that I am in some kind of group therapy where I have to admit my add...
